Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia, has expressed her congratulations to her Australian counterpart on the Australian Day.

“On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, it is my great honour and pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and the entire nation on the solemn occasion of Australian Day 2025, which commemorates your country's freedoms and values,” she wrote in her congratulatory message to Honorable Milton Dick, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Australia. 

“I have observed with great satisfaction over the ties of friendship and cooperation between our two legislatures and countries, which have gone from strength to strength over the years, and it is my firm belief that these ties will deepen for the mutual benefits of our peoples,” she underlined.

“I look forward to working with you, along with your colleagues to bolster inter-parliamentary relations for the sake of peace, stability and prosperity in the region and across the globe,” Samdech Khuon Sudary added. 

The Australia Day is the official national day of Australia celebrated annually on Jan. 26.
