AKP Phnom Penh, April 01, 2026 --

H.E. Lieutenant General Rath Dararoth, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, received a courtesy call and held a working meeting with a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), led by Ms. Dorsa Nazemi Salma, Head of Delegation of the ICRC in Cambodia.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of National Defence on April 1, and focused on an exchange of views on the current situation along the Cambodia-Thailand border, as well as on the ICRC delegation’s recent field visit to border areas, according to the Ministry’s press release. 

On the occasion, H.E. Lieutenant General Rath Dararoth expressed his profound appreciation to the ICRC for its important role, particularly in relation to the Cambodia-Thailand border situation and its support in facilitating the safe repatriation of 18 Cambodian soldiers back to the country.
