Kampong Cham Governor Delivers Major Aid Package to Frontline Troops Ahead of Khmer New Year

Kampong Cham Provincial Governor H.E. Un Chanda led a high-level delegation on Wednesday to visit frontline troops, delivering a massive aid package on behalf of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony.
The visit to Intervention Brigade 6, under the 2nd Intervention Division, comes ahead of the upcoming Khmer New Year celebrations. The provincial administration maintains a formal alliance with the military unit to bolster morale and support national defence efforts.
During the gathering, Governor Un Chanda praised the soldiers for their dedication to territorial integrity. "The provincial administration remains committed to supporting our armed forces, reflecting the high value we place on those protecting our borders," the Governor stated.
He also conveyed personal greetings from Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and the First Lady, noting that the leadership remains constantly mindful of the well-being of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF). The Governor emphasised the Royal Government’s vision of transforming border areas into zones of "peace, friendship, cooperation, and development."
The donation from the Prime Minister and the First Lady comprised a comprehensive support package, including 50 million Riel (US$12,500), 56 tonnes of cement, and a substantial supply of food, beverages, and daily essentials.
