AKP Phnom Penh, January 09, 2025 — 

Minister of Tourism H.E. HUOT Hak received here at the ministry this morning a courtesy visit from H.E. Anatoly BOROVIK, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Cambodia, and his colleagues.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, both sides discussed the strengthening and expansion of tourism cooperation between the two countries with agreement of organising Technical Working Group to draft a Memorandum of Understanding on tourism cooperation between the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism and Federal Agency for Tourism. 

Peace, political stability and social order in Cambodia play a crucial role in attracting more Russian tourists to visit Cambodia, said H.E.  Minister HUOT Hak.

For his part, H.E. Anatoly BOROVIK praised the current political, social and good security stability in Cambodia, stressing that these factors are crucial in convincing more Russian tourists to visit Cambodia.
