Cambodian King Congratulates Philippine President on Independence Day, Expresses Gratitude for Recovery Wishes

His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has sent separate messages to H.E. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, conveying congratulations on the country's Independence Day and expressing appreciation for the Philippine leader's wishes for His Majesty's recovery.
In a message dated June 9 from Beijing, His Majesty extended warm felicitations and best wishes to President Marcos Jr. and the Filipino people on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of the Philippines.
The Cambodian monarch highlighted the long-standing friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and the Philippines, noting that both countries, as members of the ASEAN family, remain committed to strengthening regional solidarity, mutual understanding, and sustainable development.
His Majesty expressed confidence that the excellent relations between the two nations would continue to flourish in the years ahead and wished President Marcos Jr. good health and success, as well as continued peace, progress, and prosperity for the Filipino people.
In a separate message dated June 12, also from Beijing, His Majesty thanked President Marcos Jr. for his thoughtful message conveying warm wishes for His Majesty's swift healing and full recovery.
The King expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude, extending his best wishes to President Marcos Jr. and the First Lady for good health, happiness, and success.
