Cambodia Travel Match 2026 Connects Tourism Businesses with Buyers from Three Countries
AKP Phnom Penh, September 10, 2026 -- The 5th Cambodia Travel Match (CTM) 2026 Mini-Series has brought together major travel agency delegates from Myanmar, Nepal and the Philippines with Cambodian tourism companies to explore business opportunities and establish tourism partnerships.
The event was presided over by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, at Crowne Plaza Phnom Penh by IHG, with more than 130 national and international participants, including international buyers, Cambodian tourism service providers, tourism operators, representatives of tourism associations and journalists.
The Minister welcomed the delegations from the three countries and commended the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Cambodia Chapter, as lead organiser, along with the Cambodia Tourism Federation (CTF), Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) and other partners for organising the international tourism trade event.
H.E. Huot Hak said the initiative aims to strengthen public-private sector cooperation, expand business opportunities and promote Cambodia’s tourism potential in international markets.
He highlighted CTM 2026 as an important tourism trade platform aligned with the Royal Government’s tourism priorities, particularly efforts to strengthen public-private partnerships, increase access to international markets and promote sustainable tourism development.
The platform provides international buyers and Cambodian tourism service providers with opportunities to establish business networks, exchange experiences and share updates on regional and global tourism trends, while helping Cambodian tourism businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, access new international markets.
The Minister also encouraged international tourists, visitors and investors to explore Cambodia with confidence, experience the country’s rich tourism potential and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Cambodian people, known for their “Cambodian Smile.”
The CTM 2026 Mini-Series is organised through collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism, CTF and the PATA Cambodia Chapter as the lead organiser. It forms part of a year-round strategic destination marketing campaign under the theme “Cambodia to the World,” aimed at creating business-to-business platforms, expanding tourism markets, attracting tourists and investment, and promoting Cambodia as a diverse and competitive global tourism destination.
