His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has expressed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Pitou Ang, President of CODEAUKHMER, for his thoughtful wishes for the King’s swift recovery and commended the organisation’s contributions to rural development and environmental protection.

In a royal message sent from Beijing on June 2, where His Majesty is undergoing medical treatment, the King said he was deeply touched by the kind wishes extended to him and expressed his heartfelt thanks.

The monarch also noted with great interest the progress achieved by CODEAUKHMER in the areas of rural development and environmental conservation.

The King highlighted the organisation’s mangrove restoration project in Kampong Chhnang and Siem Reap provinces, describing it as a hopeful initiative that reflects a responsible vision for future generations.

His Majesty further welcomed efforts that combine biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and improvements in the living conditions of rural communities.

Concluding his message, His Majesty the King extended his renewed appreciation and conveyed his warmest wishes to Mr. Pitou Ang and all members of CODEAUKHMER for good health, happiness, and continued success.
